It was great to see so many Consumer Finance Association members attend our Summer Summit and then so many guests attend our Summer drinks yesterday.
The sector has undergone massive changes over recent years and can rightly be proud of its progress. However, we can’t ignore the current difficulties that many firms face as we deal with a regulatory structure that throws up questions. So it was good to see such a turnout.
I know that members appreciated the update from Rob Gruppetta of the Financial Conduct Authority and from Dawn Stobart of Christians Against Poverty.
It was very useful to share experiences and ideas.
Our next event is our annual conference taking place in Manchester on the 10th October, with our member dinner taking place the night before, kindly sponsored by Lantern. Members can book tickets now via the conference site: https://www.eventstop.co.uk/event/2866/cfaannualconference#/
